The creditor deadline calculator applies the timing rule we have summarized for a state to the dates you enter. It is an estimate only and does not replace the statute, court order, or any notice or service requirement in the specific estate.
Start with the exact first publication date from the notice to creditors, not the hearing date or appointment date unless your state's rule uses one of those instead. Add the date of death so the tool can compare publication-based and death-based limits where a state law uses both.
The result is only an estimate. Before you rely on it, confirm the state rule, any service-on-known-creditor rule, weekends or holidays, and any local court instructions in the estate's county.
