Site updates

What changed on Probate Plainly, newest first. Corrections from readers are listed here too.

How we maintain the site: we re-check the official sources behind each page when the agency republishes them or a reader reports a change, confirm every correction against the original source before publishing it, and review the guides when the underlying rules or guidance change. Pages that would only repeat the same information are kept out of search results rather than published in bulk. Probate Plainly is published by Directory Assistance Group. See how we research for the full method, or contact us with a correction.

What we check, and how often

Each official link on the site is checked to make sure it still opens the agency page it describes. When an agency moves a page, changes a fee, or publishes a new form, we update the page that cites it and add a line here. Guides carry the date they were last changed, and that date only moves when the content does. If a source can no longer be confirmed, we remove the claim rather than leave an unverified figure in place. Reader tips are welcome, but we publish a change only after we have confirmed it with the official source.
